Why doesn't infragistics post webcasts / mini-training on the site to help people adopt the new controls and why things have to be a certain way in order to work?
All of your competitors offer these types of online webcasts to encourage more purchasing of the control sets.
As a subscription holder at a minimum this would be a great help and would probably cut down on your forum posts asking the same type of questions multiple times.

I would also just like to point out that there are videos introducing developers to the WPF controls (and many of our controls from other products) available for free on our web site. Take for example the xamRibbon videos on the following page,

Look for the little TV rabbit ears icon in the upper right corner of a thumbnail image, that means it is a link to a video.
Hi Wade,
We will be offering varying degrees of training materials. Everytthing from a class you would attend in person to online materials and blogs.
The class is being prepared today and would offer hands-on help, in-depth training, and personal time to answer specific questions. The class will be offered in major cities and will be catered to specific companies who request hosting it. We are still in planning stages for online materials.
Please let me know me what you think would be ideal for your needs for online materials. Do you find the online (and offline) reference helpful? Are the forums helping? Also, what topics for training are the most interesting to you.
Thanks!
Curtis
Hi Curtis,
Thanks for the response. One other question, will the training / videos be available for free or via the control subscription? Or will we have to pay extra for the training?
If we have to pay more then you are missing the point.
Wade
It's funny you ask. I am currently working on training materials for NetAdvantage for WPF. We will even be offering training to help developers get up to speed with WPF. In the next few months you will see more and more WPF and Silverlight learning materials ready for our customers. Until then, sorry for any inconvenience, please keep posting to the forums, use developer support, and you are welcome to email me directly if you are not getting an answer fast enough. Please refer me to any posts that are still not answered so I can make sure they are answered for you.
Thanks
