Thank you for your reply. I have been looking into it and it you wish to show markers with bigger size, I can suggest using the GeographicSymbolSeries. Using that series, you can implement the appearance of the markers using the MarkerTemplate. Also, if your series contains large amount of data points, you can use the MaximumMarkers property of the series, in order to restrict the amount of visible markers. This will allow you to have large data and show only part of it, in order to avoid performance issues. Also, when you zoom you will be able to seem more details, since the same amount of markers will be drawn on a smaller area. I have created a sample application for you, that shows how you can use the GeographicSymbolSeries.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance on the matter.
I was able to download and get the samples running.
However, I found that the nature of that demo would not work we for our needs due to the fact the dots stay at 1 pixel resolution when zoomed in at the highest magnification.
We require something that will scale slightly as we zoom in. I am working with all the other examples to find some blend of these charts to meet the need.
Thank you for your post. I have been looking into your question and the GeographicHighDensityScatterSeries is currently CTP and it is available in version 12.2. You can download and install the NetAdvantage version 12.2 and there you can use the CTP GeographicHighDensityScatterSeries. Also you can find an example of using the GeographicHighDensityScatterSeries in our Samples Browser for version 12.2. You can download free trial for NetAdvantage for WPF version 12.2 from here: http://ko.infragistics.com/products/wpf/
