I have actually a 2-parts question. Found out that I cannot use the property of the XamDockManager UseOwnedFloatingWindows and I suppose, that it's because I use version 10.3 of the infragistics. Am I right?
Then I tried to update my infragistics using Infragistics Version Utility, but the update failes because most of the files in my solution are readonly. How can I work this around. Thanks in advance!
Didn't know about the version for Version Utility and used the one which was installed with my NetAdvantage for WPF package. And it is 10.3.20103.63...
Hello Ecaterina,
Do you use the Version Utility 2012.2 ?
Looking forward for your reply.
Finally I have removed readonly from all my files and update with Version Utility went on. But the log file shows: Updating InfragisticsWPF4.DockManager.v10.3 to new reference InfragisticsWPF4.DockManager.v10.3. and like this for all references... something obviously went wrong :(
Thank you for your quick reply!
And if I decide to replace the refferences manually where can I download the update package? In my profile here I don't have access to any updates, because I have no registered products. I got my installation directly from my employer.
Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it and I can say that the XamDockManager ‘s UseOwnedFloatingWindows Property was added after version 10.3. Also you can either make your files editable in order to use the version utility or leave them read-only and add replace the references manually. Please let me know if this helps you or you need further assistance on this matter.
