We are using the OutlookCalendarView (I belive this contains the XamDayView). In our case we have multiple appointments on the same time. Is there any way that we can set the order of the doubled appointments? If you watch the screenshot attached, you'll see "CONFLICTAGENDA" on the right first, and on the left later on. We want them all on the same side. (there is is difference in the data object, so I know a "Type" so I'm able to determine the order myself).
There is currently no way to control the sort order. The order is similar to that of Outlook (and actually has some variations amongst the controls/areas as Outlook does - e.g. scheduleview/dayview timeslots sort a little different than monthview or the all day event area of dayview). But for the dayview timeslots it basically starts by comparing the start times putting the earliest first. If two activities have the same start then it compares the duration putting the longest first. If the durations are also equal then it compares the subject putting the one with the lower alphabetically earlier. If all that is the same we just fallback to comparing the Id just to avoid a random order. So since in the first circle the 2 activities have the same start and duration the subject is used and so the Behandelaar is first but in the 2nd circle the ConflictAgenda has a longer duration so it is first.
Thanks for the reply, this explains exaclty what happends!
Will this be possible in the future?
