Whenever the Infragistics Auto-updater launchers from Visual Studio (or manually) it always says the Infragistics WPF Samples (re-release 2013.2.1011) is an available update.
Ive let it install a few times however it still appears with every subsequent launch. Anyone seen similar issues? If so how do i tell the updater that it's lost it's mind and that component has been updated?
Thank you Marianne, that worked like a champ!
Hi Marc,
There was a problem with the WPF samples version v13.2.1008, which was successfully re-released but the original version was available to customers for about a week. If you had installed using that original samples version, subsequent attempts to update are unable to complete successfully. As a result the Visual Studio Add-In always detects that your installed version is v13.2.1008 and continues to indicate that an update is available.
The solution is to uninstall the currently installed 13.2 version of WPF samples and then install the WPF 13.2 samples using our Install Wrapper, not the Visual Studio Add-in. This way the v13.2.1011 version will be installed directly on your machine and no updates should be listed for this product by the Visual Studio Add-In going forward.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.
