How can i change the XamMenu and XamMenuItem selected and hover-over style?

Hi, how can i change the XamMenu and XamMenuItem selected and hover-over style?

I can change the background and foreground with the xaml below but I can't see how to change the selected and hover-over style.

    Thank you for your post. I have been looking into it and I can suggest you see the sample in the Samples Browser under xamMenu / Style / Custom Hover Style section, where there is a sample showing how to achieve the functionality you want. Please let me know if this helps you or you have further questions on this matter.
