In XamScatterSurface3D it is possible to set the color palette to the surface. For better understanding it is very helpful to show this palette additionally directly on (or near) the Z Axis on the chart like this:

This will give the customers the opportunity exactly determine the Z value (Temperature in this sample>) by the color.
