The new forums look very promising. Can't wait for them to go live and see them in action. :)

A couple of  suggestions/questions:

1.     It took me a while to figure out how to update my user profile. I eventually figured out that I am supposed to clik on my name which is displayed as a link on the top right-hand side of the page. But this wasn't obvious and it would be nice to have a more obvious and descriptive link somewhere - like in the bar on the left.
   
2. Once I am into my profile, there does not appear to be a link to get back to the forums. Maybe I am just missing it, but I can't see a link anywhere.
3. Why is it that these forums don't automatically detect emoticons like :)  ?   It looks like it requires you to surround them with square brackets in order for them to display as images.
