We currently use the 2010 Volume 2 version of the Windows Forms controls. Can we build desktop applications that will work on Windows 8?
The Windows 8 support page indicates that "the current NetAdvantage Ultimate controls can be used to build Windows 8 desktop apps", but I can't tell from that whether the 2010 Volume 2 version of the controls will also work.
Hello,
It is expected that the controls from 2010 Volume 2 will work to build desktop applications in Windows 8 as the Windows Forms as Windows 8 is expected to run desktop applications that Windows 7 ran.
Let me know if you have any questions with this matter.
Hi, Alan. Thanks for the quick reply! That is what I needed to know, thanks.
