When can we expect a new release for Netadvantage 2013, it is august and only 1 release.
Is there any information on what and when we can expect a new release?
When can we expect a update or news about it?
Hello,
The new release is available for download on the website today.
Alan,
I downloaded the complete bundle zip file (Infragistics_Ultimate_20132_WithSamplesAndHelp.zip) and am unable to unzip it; I'm getting the following error message from WinZip:
Extracting file: C:\Users\Public\Infragistics\Infragistics 2013 Vol2\Infragistics_Ultimate_20132_WithSamplesAndHelp.zipExtracting to "C:\Users\Public\Infragistics\Infragistics 2013 Vol2\"Use Path: yes Overlay Files: noCentral and local directory mismatch for file "Infragistics_Ultimate_20132.exe" (compressed size - local: 4294967295 central: 7783580).Local and central compressed size values don't match. If I skip that file I get errors for the subsequent files in the zip as well.
Andy.
Hello Andy,
This is a known issue with the ZIP files for the latest version of Infragistics. You can still extract the contents of the ZIP file by right-clicking on it, selecting "Open with", and then selecting "Windows Explorer". You can then drag the files over to another folder in order to extract them.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about this.
Yes this is a very serious issue with the ZIP file. This is very important role perform in the Window Explorer.

kenpaton,
For the 2013 Volume 2 ASP.NET release there were many quality improvements though there were no new features introduced in this volume. You can see the complete list of improvements made in the release notes. As there were no new features it is intentional that the what's new page for 2013 Volume 2 doesn't exist. Paul,
Thank you for your feedback. The issue with the corrupt zip file has been addressed and going forward those who download the product will be able to open the zip file with archive managers like 7zip and WinZip. We have also taken steps to ensure that testing is done with archive managers in addition to using Windows Explorer so that we will avoid releasing zip files that aren't able to be opened in the future.
Let me know if you have any questions.
