This is using AG 12.3 & IG 12.3.
Our users in China are actually seeing the text name of icons rather than the actual icons for all buttons/dropdowns/combos. It's not negatively impacting functionality, but it is far from the ideal state.
Below is an image capture of the difference between our view and their view. I'm hoping there's a simple thing we can do with Locale or alternate graphics that will solve this for us.
Thanks in advance!
Hello,I have been looking into your question and what I could say is that IgxIcons are material based and the described behavior is due to a national policy in China, so GoogleAPI (including Google's Material Design icon resources) cannot be accessed.
Unfortunately, since the issue is related to Material, it is beyond the scope of Infragistics support.
In addition, I found this GitHub issue and a Stackoverflow discussion which could be found here that you might consider helpful.
Let me know if I may be of any further assistance.

This looks helpful. I will try these out and see if something works for our China users. I'm assuming installing the Materal Icons directly (had to use yarn the first time to confirm installation, then NPM was fine with --legacy-peer-deps afterwards). It also required increasing the memory limit by 1GB.
Hello,
Thank you for using Infragistics components.

Our solution was to locally host the most recent set of Google icons since the NPM hosted version is 5 years old.
Thank you for your suggestions.
I would be glad if my suggestions were helpful.
