Infragistics grid does not work properly when infinite scroll and group by behavior is clubbed together. When I group a column and try to scroll, it shows empty records.

I have been looking into your question and I suppose that by “infinite scrolling” you are referring to the Remote Data Operations scenario for the IgxGrid, is this correct?
After testing this configuration in this sample I was able to reproduce similar behavior and after reviewing it with the development team, it has been identified as an issue. As a result, I have logged it in our GitHub repo here. Any concerns or questions that you have can be directly addressed in the issue, which will give you the opportunity to directly communicate with our development team.
