And I do see this option here, http://help.infragistics.com/jQuery/2015.2/ui.igPivotGrid#options:gridOptions.fixedHeaders but it never works. Can you give me an example about how to make it work? thanks in advance.

Thank you for posting in our forum.
The Pivot Grid currently does not support row and column fixing. The only supported features are Resizing and Tooltips. For more information you can refer to:

The fixedHeaders option determines whether the Headers will be fixed at the top of the grid when you scroll down (assuming you have a vertical scrollbar). If it’s set to true (which is the default value) the headers will always remain visible since they’ll remain “fixed” at the top of the grid. What are you aiming to achieve with it? (Note that this is not the same as Column fixing, it only fixes the headers at the top of the grid, not the columns).

I set the attribute to true for fixed headers. I don't see the headers fixed. We lose it when the grid expands in rows. Is it a bug, can you please give us an example? Thanks

Could you describe in more details the behavior you’re observing on Chrome? What happens when you scroll down?
Also could you let me know the exact version of Chrome you’re testing it on?

That option is set to “true” by default so you can see it on any sample with a vertical scrollbar in our samples browser.
For instance you can refer to this sample:

Expand a few of the rows so that a vertical scrollbar will be displayed and scroll down. The headers will remain fixed at the top of the grid as you scroll. I’ve attached a screenshot of the result for your reference.
