We are using ignite ui with mvc3. We started with a trail version and have done most of the development with it. We have a licence and we want to change as little as possible. Support told us all we had to do was repair the installation and put our licence in and then just copy the new javascript files.
I have tried that and additionally copied the css files but the trial watermark is still showing.
We are using visual studio 2010 and mvc3 ( .net 4 ).

I have finished the initial research on your issue and before continuing further I have a question: Could you check if you have referenced your non-trial javascript and CSS files correctly in all of your view/layout files?

It looks as though you could be correct - we have one sight where the water mark shows and 1 that doesn't - will check
Just found an odd image ( trial.png ) so deleted it and problem gone. Thx
