When exporting images from the storyboard, is there any way to *include* the - for example - iPad surround that I'm using for my current design?
-Austin.
Hello Austin,
The storyboards boxes only include the screenshot of the screens, without the devices chrome. This is so they can use most of the box area, which is already fairly small.
There's no way now to show the device inside the box, but if you want to add some context to the screen, you can try some of the provided scenes. You can drag & drop a scene over a box, and then add a screenshot over it to fill in the device that appears on the scene, as shown on the screenshot below.
For more information about using scenes, you can look at this topic.
Let us know if this helps!
Warm regards,
Santiago.

That is undeniably cool!
However, what I need - in addition to the ability to present the app concept from within Indigo Studio - is to export images of the individual screens to embed in a boring old Word Document. This is to form a sample manual.
The way that it displays in the screen view (see screenshot) is beyond perfect. If File --> Export --> Document as Images (png) included the devices chrome I would have found my perfect wire framing tool! I'm still hoping that it's somehow possible, I'm just not familiar enough with the software yet.
Glad you find it useful! You can't include the device on the screenshots now, but you are not the first one to ask for this, so I made the team aware about this request and we'll see if we can include it soon enough.
By the way, we have a uservoice site were you can submit ideas for the product, and track their progress: https://indigostudio.uservoice.com/. Feel free to add this one there, and we'll make sure to update it once we tackle it.
Thanks!
