Is it possible to create custom stencil? I.e., I'd like to make one that represents sparklines. I can string some lines together and copy within a screen, but I'd like to be able to reuse.
Thoughts?
Hi Stephen,
Currently this is not supported in version one of Indigo Studio. It's a great idea though and would be very useful to have. I suggest heading on over to our user voice site and voting on this feature. http://indigostudio.uservoice.com/forums/185426-welcome-to-indigo-studio-product-ideas-/suggestions/3393640-let-me-more-easily-reuse-parts-of-my-designs
Please feel free to use this site to suggest new ideas as well and vote on existing product ideas that are already up on the site. We want this kind of feedback as it's crucial in determining what we work on and how we prioritize them.
Let me know if you have any further questions on this.
Hi Elaine,
There is also an idea for importing vector graphics such as AI and EPS here, if you want to vote for that one.
You can save your work in Photoshop or Illustrator as a JPEG or PNG and then import that into Indigo. Indigo supports importing images to use in storyboards and screens.
I would like to be able to import files from Photoshop and Illustrator to use in Indigo. For example, I need to make a map overlay of census data. This is too hard to do using custom shapes.
