I've got a problem. One of the datagrids a website which I am developing, doesn't show any rows >ever< when viewed under the new Google Chrome browser that was released earlier today.
Has anyone else noticed any inconsistences with the Infragistics controls and Google Chrome?
I've published two screenshots on my review of Google Chrome here: http://blog.evolvedsoftwarestudios.com/2008/09/02/web-browser-wars-room-for-one-more-google-launch-google-chrome/ (scroll right down to the last two images in the article).
I had not tried Opera, but I just did. The grid works in Opera. However, the WebAppStylist does not. My grid-- which is so pretty in Firefox and IE, with scrolling and pretty colors and easy-to-read fonts-- is just an ugly table in Opera with Times font. <yuck!>
But since Opera has a whopping 0.7% market share, and (unless something big happens) doesn't show any sign of gaining any, I'm not to worried about it.
However, Chrome is up to 1.23% in its short lifespan, and shows all the signs of one day catching and/or overtaking Firefox. Wisdom would indicate Chrome support is going to be a big deal.

Did you happen to try Opera as well?

Any update???

I have upgraded to 2009.1 for ASP.NET. I also just downloaded and installed the newest Google Chrome beta (1.0.154.53)
I hoped, but it didn't happen. My IG-controlled pages with the UltraWebGrid still do not work in Chrome.
Any word on Chrome/Safari progress?
Noticed that a new release came out today. However, the press release (http://ko.infragistics.com/press-release/dotnet-09-volume-1.aspx) does not mention if the capability issue with other browsers was addressed. Is this the case? Does the WebGrid now work with Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc?
Thanks
Chad
Hi Chad,
Our next release for ASP.NET is planned to ship in early April.
