UltraWebTab with WebKit and Gecko
posted

I'm working on a large ASP.NET application that has been making use of UltraWebTab (version 1.0.6007.7) for several years now but the time has come for this app to be cross-browser.

UltraWebTab doesn't function in Safari, Chrome, or Firefox (versions 5, 9, and 3.6, respectively) and doesn't render properly in Firefox.

What is the best course of action?

    Hi,

UlraWebTab with version 1.0 was built long before Firefox, Safari and Chrome were available. It is possible that it does not support those browsers.
I can suggest you to upgrade UltraWebTab for the latest version. If you move to the WebTab, then it will be even better, because it has more options including moving/closing tabs on client, processing ContentUrl (TargetUrl of Tab), validations, etc.
