'RadComboBox not defined' in WARP / FireFox
posted
WARP 7.1 .NET2 with RadComboBox 2.7, VS2008.

I have a Telerik RadComboBox on the form set to AutoPostBack. This is linked to another RadComboBox inside a WARP, which is populated when the 1st combo changes. This works fine in IE but in FireFox (2.0.0.13) it hangs waiting for the response forever, giving the following browser error in ig_shared.js (line 3206) -

RadComboBox is not defined
_runScript("window["edProduct"] = new RadComboBox("edProduct","edProduct",true);window["edProduct"].Initialize({...", undefined)

Is there any fix for this?

thanks,

Simon

Very hard to tell, but I guess something related to client-side scipts of the third party control not correctly updated to the client (e.g. RadComboBox client script not registered by the control itself after callback). Unfortunately this is something that I believe is in the third party control and I am not sure we are able to address it.

Why don't you use our own IG WebCombo control demonstrated here:

    http://samples.infragistics.com/2008.1/webfeaturebrowser/

It is tested and integrated with WARP and will provide better results.
