Hello,
I am using the 10.2 version of UltraWebToolbar. It works fine with IE7, IE8 , Mozilla Firefox but I am unable to intercept events (for example OnGroupButtonClick or OnButtonClicked) when using Google Chrome.
What do I have to do to solve this problem?
Hello ocornuau
Our classic controls (like “UltraWebToolbar”) are not built with support for Safari and Chrome browsers.
This means that their behavior under these two browsers is not tested and approved - http://ko.infragistics.com/support/supported-environments.aspx#SupportedEnvironments
In order to be able to use our grid controls under Safari and Chrome in version 10.2 you should consider migrating to our new Aikido Ajax enabled controls like “WebDataMenu” – http://samples.infragistics.com/aspnet/ComponentOverview.aspx?cn=data-menu
http://samples.infragistics.com/aspnet/Samples/WebDataMenu/EditingAndSelection/ClientEvents/Default.aspx?cn=data-menu&sid=e7f94567-f103-46b4-92bd-911535d155e9
Let me know if you have further questions.
Hello ocornuau,
Let me know if you need further information about this question.
If I migrate to the WebDataMenu, what can I use to replace a toolbar TextBox (TBTextBox) ? I need the TextBox because I have a search area in my current toolbar.
Thanks
Inform me if you need more information about this question.
You can show the “TextBox” control in the template in both “WebDialogWindow” (shown here - http://community.infragistics.com/forums/p/11640/44276.aspx#44276) and “WebDataMenu” (explained here - http://help.infragistics.com/Help/NetAdvantage/ASPNET/2010.3/CLR4.0/html/WebDataMenu_Assigning_templates_to_individual_items_using_the_templates_collection.html)
Let me know if this approach is useful in your scenario.
