Hi,
In the distribution 2011.2, we were not able to locate the assembly InfragisticsSL4.DragDrop.v11.2.dll or the namespace. Is the namespace available in any other assembly? There are no references in breaking changes either.
Hello apppoint,
Would you please double check under the location where you have installed your product
+ the following relative path - Infragistics\NetAdvantage 2011.2\SilverlightCommon\Bin\SharedXAML . Drag and Drop assembly should be located there. If you still find difficulties locating it , please say , so that we could help you!
Regards,
Nikola.
Hi Nikolo.
That was super fast reply.
Anyways, I did not find that folder. We are trying to reinstall the package "NetAdvantage_dotNet_20112_WithSamplesAndHelp" and see if anything is missed. However found similarly named folder under <InstallFolder>\NetAdvantage 2011.2\Silverlight\Bin\SharedXAML but it didnt have that file.
Just to add to what Nikola said, the SilverlightCommon folder is not relative to your install folder - it's always installed under Program Files.
So, you should look for the following folder:
[Program Files]\Infragistics\NetAdvantage 2011.2\SilverlightCommon\Bin\SharedXAML
Hope this helps,
Hi Georgi,
Thanks for confirming. Following is the list of folders i see under [Program Files]\Infragistics\NetAdvantage 2011.2\. I did a complete install to confirm if i had missed any, but don't see that folder.
ASP.NET
Reporting
Silverlight
Version Utility
WPF
Windows Forms
jQuery
Think i found the issue. All the common items are installed in default program files folder which is "C:\Program Files\Infragistics\NetAdvantage 2011.2\SilverlightCommon". Typically our policy is always to install on non-default and i was always looking at "d:\program files\infragistics" which is our install path.
Your suggestion of [Program Files]\Infragistics\NetAdvantage 2011.2\SilverlightCommon is right, i have overlooked it.
Thanks for the quick help. Will be good to have these documented.
The only thing that comes to my mind is if your machine is 64-bit and you manually chosed to install in the "Program Files" folder (which is the folder for 64-bit apps).
In this case the SilverlightCommon will be installed under "Program Files (x86)" folder. So you should look for a location like C:\Program Files (x86)\Infragistics\NetAdvantage 2011.2\SilverlightCommon
Could you confirm if that's the case ?
