I am using version NetAdvantage_ASPNET_20103.
On IE, Chrome and FireFox I can change the tabs by clicking on the tab once. On the Ipad I have to click the tab twice for it to change the tab. When you click the tab once on the Ipad it changes the tabs background color to the color in the SelectedStyle. The second time you click on the tab it changes the tab.
I added a js alert to tabPatientManagementFullPage.TabClick to let me know when the tab changes and it is getting fired on the second tab click on the IPad.
Does anyone know if this is by design or if there is a work around?
Not sure if this is related to http://community.infragistics.com/forums/p/62544/317592.aspx#317592 .
Hi dan2012a,
Thank you for posting in the community.
I have tested this scenario using both 11.2 and the last service release for version 10.3 - 10.3.20103.2217 and tab changing occurs on a single tap. Therefore, if you haven't already I can suggest that you upgrade to the latest service release for your version.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Can you point me to a working sample of this in the 10.3.20103.2217 version?
This is also the UltraWebTab and not the newer WebTab.
Thank you for your reply.
Feel free to contact me if any questions arise regarding this scenario.
Thanks.
I have upgraded to 11.2 WebTabs.
Apologies for the misonception. Please note that UltraWebTab is not supported under touch devices and is as of version 11.2 is no longer included in our product package. A detailed list of the retired controls and their respective replacements can be found at:
http://community.infragistics.com/blogs/taz_abdeali/archive/2011/11/17/asp-net-product-changes-in-2011-volume-2.aspx
I can suggest that you consider switching to the WebTab control instead.
Please feel free to contact me if you need more information.
