Ultrawebgrid not working in IE9
posted

HI Team,

In our project we are using Infragistics 10.2 version ultrawebgrid which is not working as expected in IE9.

Should we upgrade the version? If so which version and which grid should we use?

Warm Regards,

Jayaprabha

    Hello Jayaprabha,

Thank you for posting in our forum.

You have three main options in this situation:

    1. Install the latest Service Release for version 10.2. Because IE 9 was released after creation of 10.2 controls support for this browser was added with the latest Service Releases available. You can see our latest service releases in our web site - “Help > Service Release Schedule” and download them from “Account > My Keys and Downloads” page.
    2. Upgrade your project to version 11.1 – this is the first version with native support for IE 9 and last version that contains our classic controls - http://ko.infragistics.com/community/blogs/taz_abdeali/archive/2011/11/17/asp-net-product-changes-in-2011-volume-2.aspx Installation of the latest Service Release for 11.1 is also recommended.
    3. Migrate to our new Aikido toolset which is supported under most of the modern browsers and will have support in current and upcoming releases also.
Aikido controls are far better choice if you want fast, simple and easy to use controls supported under most of the latest browsers.

For any of the new controls you can use two main sources for information about their functionality – our documentation and the Samples Browser that shows many life samples:

    http://help.infragistics.com/Help/NetAdvantage/ASPNET/2012.1/CLR4.0/html/Web_Controls.html

    http://samples.infragistics.com/aspnet/

If you need further information regarding some of the above scenarios let me know.
