Hello Kiran and welcome to our forums!
What is your scenario - are you using UltraWinGrid(the windows forms grid) or the ASP.NET WebDataGrid?
The control we are using is UltraWebGrid. We use this in the generation of a form. Our’s is a product based company. In one of our internal projects, there is a case where user uses a table control using our IDE. Internally the form is generated using Ultrawebgrid and to this the data is bound. When the form is run in the browser, unable to select rows of the grid.
Hi Petar,
Thanks for your reply. It found to be useful.
The version i am using is Infragistics4.WebUI.UltraWebGrid.v10.3. Since this is 10.3(10.3.20103.2164 ), this version should support IE9 but the control is not supporting IE9.
Suggest on this.
Hello Kiran,
Thank you for your reply.
Is it possible for you to check whether any javascript excepions are being thrown when selecting a row in IE9 ? A small sample illustrating the matter would be greatly appreciated and will allow me to provide more feedback as to the cause of the behavior. Additionally, please note that build 2164 is not the latest SR available for volume 10.3 - the latest SR is build 2217 and would be available for download from your account on our website.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Thanks for your reply. I am getting the following exception when i try to select the row in the grid.
SCRIPT5007: Unable to get value of the property 'init': object is null or undefined
ig_WebGrid_dom.js, line 183 character 2.
It is poinitng to
var igtbl_ptsGrid=[
"init",
function(element,node
,gridInitArray,bandsInitArray,colsInitArray,eventsInitArray,xmlInitProps
).
And as you mentioned 2164 is not latest. Will 2217 help me to resolve the issue? Suggest on this.
So far I have been unable to reproduce the mentioned exception with either build 2164 or 2217. A small sample illustrating the behavior in question would be greatly appreciated and would allow to examine this further.
Please feel free to contact me with any updates or questions.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are still experiencing issues with this matter.
Thank you for sharing the cause and solution to the issue in the community.
Glad that the matter has been resolved.
Thanks for all your support. Your earlier post made us to find the issue. In the utlity in which we are using Ingragistics WebGrid, scripts are not latest. We have replaced them with 10.3 scripts. Once again thanq:)
