Hi,
I am using Infragistics piechart 3d in my aspx page and if I try to use lengthy label names, it overlaps with the 3d piechart.
Also, the arrow lines are not displayed properly. After applying the above mentioned criteria, the 3d piechart looks like the below. Please refer to the below screenshot.
Is there any property that can prevent this overlapping of item labels with the 3d piechart.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
John
Hello John,
Thank you for your patience. The pictures are not displaying properly. If the label names are overlapping with your chart I have a couple recommendations. First is if possible you could shorten the labels or use a smaller font or font size. Next you could use a Legend to display what each chunk of the pie chart. If you could please provide me with the images or a sample of what you are trying to accomplish I can research more about the arrow lines and label.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance with this matter.

I am following up to see if this issue has been resolved with the information provided.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for doing a research on this matter. So, I believe there is no wrap property for the label text in 3d piechart and I would take your suggestion. But, in the mean time, I want to know is there any other approach to solve this overlapping issue, if any. Anyway, thanks for your reply.
Thanks in advance,
John.
Thank you for your update. The other options to avoid overlap is to shorten the length of the label or use a legend and have data or percentage values in the chart label.
I hope i got the support and suggestions regarding this issue. Please update me if any new feature is added in case of Piechart 3d for resolving this issue in a better way.
Thanks for your assistance throughout this matter. Also, hoping to get it in the future too.
I have discussed this with development. Currently line breaks in the label text is the solution for the WebChart. They also noted that another possible solution is to use the XamPieChart and assign the label property to a control which implements line wrapping.
I am following up to see if the information provided has resolved this matter.
Than you Jeff and all..i'm currently us using the \n and small fonts as works out for me
Same problem.
I used the \n work around but then my label font is not applied (the text is really small).
I have a similar problem. Short of increasing the Others percent threshold or switching labels to just %s is there another way i can fix this:
hi Mike
can we add the labels text inside the charts and for smaller areas outside the charts.
I haven't heard from you in a few days and just wanted to check to see if there was anything else I can do for you. If I don't hear from you in 3 days I will go ahead and close this case as inactive. Once a case is closed you will still be able to open it again within 30 days.
