Can I enable this feature in the WebDatePicker? My users don't want to always have to scroll manually through the months..or years for that matter...
Hi Alan,
Thanks for posting in our forums!
The header of the WebDatePicker is not displayed like the usual drop down you or your users may be accustomed to but the month in the header can be clicked to drop down a list of the months in the year. From there, the year in the header can be clicked to change the dropdown to select a series of years in a range. And if you need to go deeper, clicking on the range in the header will display a list of ranges you can choose from.
Once you select from one of the drop downs, they reverse cascade based on your selection back down to picking the day of the month. You can see an example of the drop down progression in the image I've attached below.
If you have any further questions or concerns with this, please let me know.
Hey Mike, thanks for that. I never knew. You might want to highlight that in your examples browser. If it is there, I missed it. It is not that intuitively obvious, so knowing my accounts receivable users, I will need to educate them on the changes.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll forward this on to our product guidance team.
If you need anything else, feel free to let me know.
