How to do sorting with this?
Can anyone help on this?
We are using trial version and are deciding if we should go in for the Infragistics or any other third party controls

On sorting, the grid will contain only the data for that specific page and the defaul sorting will be done based on that data and not based on the whole data source.
If you need to use the default grid sorting you need to provide the whole data source for the grid during that request.
