Hi All,
I have an UltraGrid in virtual mode and with multiple bands. The data rows in all bands have the same columns, so I only display column headers on grid top. UltraGrid displays child rows beneath their parent. Is is possible to display child rows above their parent row?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Shaolin
Hello Shaolin,Thank you for posting in our forums.Currently the UltraGrid is only capable of showing the child rows below the parent row. What I would suggest is to log a new product idea for this from our product ideas site. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Hi Dimitar,
I post it on the product ideas site. Meanwhile, could you please give me some suggestions?
Thanks! Shaolin
Hello Shaolin,Thank you for posting the product idea!In this case implementing this feature by yourself would require rewriting a lot of the positioning code for the UltraGrid rows. This code is very complex, so this operation would be very difficult, time consuming and error prone. We always try to provide alternative options, but in this case, given the complexity of the feature, my suggestion is to wait for it to be implemented from our side, which will happen if the feature idea gathers enough traction. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
