I was use Infragistics.Practices.CompositeUI.WinForms.dll in VS2005 that version is '1.0.20081.1000'
Current my item migrate to VS2008 and I want to use infragistics coltrols on vol 2. So, I was install Infragistics NetAdvantage for .NET 2008 Vol. 2 CLR 2.0.
But I can not see CAB Extensibility Kit on my PC.
Here are my questions.
First, where can I get CAB Extensibility Kit? Am I need to download other setup kit? If then, please let me know correct one.
Second, If I migrate old Infragistics.CompositeUI.WinForms.sln to VS2008 and make new dll, can I use that for my project?
last question, Where can i get Infragistics NetAdvantage for .NET 2008 Vol. 1 CLR 2.0?
1) The CAB Extensibility Kit is part of the SDK download. This should be listed under the My Keys and Downloads page of our website, under the specific version of the toolset you're using.
2) To my knowledge, yes, if you migrate the solution to VS2008 and recompile, you can use that new assembly in your project.
3) If you have a key registered for NetAdvantage for .NET 2008 Volume 1, you'll have access to its downloads from the My Keys and Downloads page of our website. If you don't have a key for this version of the toolset, and if you have a key for later versions of the toolset, you'll want to contact our Customer Service team to confirm whatever is needed to obtain a key for the older version of the toolset.
We have licensed Infragistics for WinForms (currently using 2008/3) and I can't find the Dlls needed either.
There is no SDK around anywhere (I remember, in the past there was one...). Also I can't find any hint from where to get the Dlls (not speaking of source code) in the "CAB resource center" on the Infragistics internet site nor in the Infragistics offline or online help.
Intermediate help is copying the dll from the reference application. But I don't really feel well deploying a product to our customers with a dll copied from a reference application.

I'm also having trouble with Infragistics 2008/3 for WinForms under Visual Studio 2010 RTM (targeting 3.5 or 4.0 Framework).
Whenever I set an image to UltraExplorerBar ou to Ribbon controls, I get the folowing error message:
"Code generation for property 'Image' failed. Error was 'The given assembly name or codebase was invalid.'"
Is there any fix for this problem, or Infragistics 2008/3 is not compatible with Visual Studio 2010?
I am helping a customer asking this same question in a support case, and I have discovered that the CAB Extensibility Kit is actually installed with "Samples" installer, which is itself part of the WinClient download.
So, for example, if you download NetAdvantage for WinClient 2009 vol 2, you would install the file:
NetAdvantage_WinForms_20092_Samples.exe
to get the CEK.

I first followed the hint in one of the earlier posts: installed the SDK in 2008 Vol. 1; the Get Help Menu of that directed me towards the root dir C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\All Users\Dokumente\Infragistics\ and the rest was obvious, I had it already for Vol. 3 as well.
So it would be nice if you at Infragistics put that help item "Net Advantage CAB Extensibility Kit" back into the Get Help Menu.
