Thanks for the quick reply.

For a quick test of your suggestion a put the following code in the
KeyDown event.


if (e.KeyCode == Keys.Tab)
{
this.ultraGrid1.Rows[ultraGrid1.ActiveRow.Index].Cells[0].Activate();
}

And it does indeed select the first cell. But the row seems to still be
selected, since subsequent presses of the Tab key navigate to the next
row. How do I get the ultragrid out of a "row state" and into a "cell
state" so that the Tab key will navigate to the next cell?
