When the OS theme is in Classic mode and the font happens to be non-Microsoft San Serif, the text gets fuzzy when you hover in and out of the Ribbon. I'm not sure yet if overriding the Ribbon's font to a non-San Serif font will display the same problem.
Font that displays the issue: Times New Roman
To override individual windows' element in XP, go to Display Properties -> Appearance -> Advanced
