Hello,
after uninstall the old MSDN and installing the new MSDN für VS2008 the Infragistics help is lost!!!
Uninstalling and reinstalling wan't help.
How can I install the Infragistics HELP SDK to see it in my VS2008-Help please???
What product are you working with .NET or WPF? Also what version are you working with?

at this time with .NET. But I want also in the near future to work with WPF!
Can you specify what version of NetAdvantage for .NET you are using (7.2, 7.3)?
I use always the newest one (subscription): Infragistics NetAdvantage 2007 Vol3
Unfortunately, out of the box NetAdvantage for .NET 7.3 help does not plug into VS2008. The next version of NetAdvantage for .NET will do this. As a work around what you can do is once you've installed the help:
1. Go to the InstallPath\Help folder. 2. Open the .ini file called H2Reg_INFRAGISTICS_HELP.ini in a text editor. 3. Find the line that is MS.VSCC.v80, and change the 8 to a 9.4. Close the file and all Visual Studio instances (Documentation viewers and IDE).5. Run the ManualRegisterHelp.bat inside the same folder to register the help against VS2008.6. You should be able to see the infragistics help now in the VS2008 Documentation shortcut (the shortcut located under Infragistics won't work because it will be executing the VS2005 documentation explorer).
Hopefully this helps.
Thank you, but in the Index-Tab (and if I'm searching for something else) there is absolutely nothing!
1. Is there a good old CHM-Helpfile anywhere to download available?
2. Please, when will the next maintenance released?
Unfortunately, we do not publish the NetAdvantage for .NET documentation as a CHM. However in 7.3 we started shipping PDFs of the Developer's Guide, which you can download as a zip in the downloads area for NetAdvantage for .NET.
There are no maintenance updates scheduled for 7.3 at this time. The next update will come with NetAdvantage for .NET 8.1 release, which will allow the documentation to be plugged into VS2008.
THX!
NetAdvantage for .NET 2008 Volume 1 has shipped, and CLR2.0 and CLR3.5 can be plugged into Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, and CLR2.0 can still plug into Visual Studio 2005.
Also, it wouldn't be good to let a thread called "WHERE is the help???" die without noting that our help is also online in our Online Documentation area, both the current and recent versions.
As for 2008.1 release, it will be very soon.
Thx 4 Ur fast reply! I'll check my customer-area for the pdf-files!
A last question please:
Geoff Knoll"] The next update will come with NetAdvantage for .NET 8.1 release, which will allow the documentation to be plugged into VS2008.
The next update will come with NetAdvantage for .NET 8.1 release, which will allow the documentation to be plugged into VS2008.
...and do you know, when it'll released? This or next month? Or maybe later?
