I don't know when this happened or why, but I seem to have multiple collapsed duplicate headers on my grid. They look like lines and I realized they were duplicate when I began to expand them... what would cause this and how do I delete the "noise"?

It looks like you might have somehow gotten a bunch of extra RowScrollRegions in your grid. If you drag each one of these all the way up to the top of the grid, they should go away.
It looked like that worked in the designer, but there still seems to be 1 left at runtime. Is there somewhere in code or property settings that can be used to get rid of these (QA will find and report this as a bug)?

I'm not entirely sure I understand the problem here. Are you asking how to turn off the ability for user to create RowScrollRegions?
To do that, you set MaxRowScrollRegions on the grid's DisplayLayout to 1.
