How to add a separator in PopupGalleryTool like in word

Right click the item closest to where you want the seperator and choose begin a group from the context menu.
In dropdown mode I see the groups. In the preview, I don't see the groups or any seperator. Also can't see any text in preview.
To verify, check the example provided in Infragistics 9.2 samples "Ribbon At Runtime.exe"
