My question is, how would I using the Grid, allow the user to select
multiple Therapeutic Areas and multiple indications but only if they are in
the same productclass and producline. So they would select product class
first, then product line, and then be presented with a list of Therapeutics
/ Indications.

Can I have the grid be grouped by product class (where it alllows only one
selection) and then it opens up for productlines and allow one selection and
then opens up and allows multiple selections?

Is there a better way to handle this?

Hi,
    I'm a little fuzzy on what you mean by "select". Do you mean you want the user to select a Product Class in each row of the grid, and then a Product Line in the next cell of the same row, but only show the Product Lines that apply to that Product Class?
    Or are you talking about showing all of the data and only letting the user select certain rows by highlighting them?
    Or do you mean you want a CheckBox in the rows?

The user would first select a product class, then they should see a list of
available productlines for that product class. Next they need to be able to
select multiple therapeutic / indications that are linked to the
productclass, productline they selected. The productclass and productline
sort of acts like a filter. Should I keep product line and product class
outside the grid in combo box?
