Hi, i just want to write something about the missing help when i have installed visual studio 2008 (on windows vista)
i have read the following thread http://forums.infragistics.com/forums/t/3095.aspx
currently i use netadvantage 2007 vol 2 . today i got the information that netadvantage 2008 vol 1 is out. is it better to install this version ? are there all problems with the help fixed ?

Starting in NetAdvantage for .NET 2008 Volume 1 we full support the help plugging into Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. When you run the 8.1 CLR2.0 help installer you will be given the option to plug into either Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2008, or both. For the 8.1 CLR3.5 it will plug into Visual Studio 2008 by default.

We are using 9.1. How do I determine if the Infragistics help was plugged into Visual Studio 2008 per discussion above and on part 1 of the same? If it isn't how do I do it? Thanks in advance for any ideas and/or suggestions!
If you ran the help specific installer it should have create a shortcut in the start menu in the Documentation folder called "Documentation (Local)". If you select this it should launch the Microsoft Document Explorer, which means the help was registered with Visual Studio 2008.
If you go to the where the help installed you will see a Help folder, and inside it are some .bat files, you can run this (with admin priviledges in Vista), and the help should register with VS2008.
Hope that helps. Biggest thing is to make sure you ran the Help specific installer, as the help doesn't install as part of the Main or SDK installers.
When I click Start, All Programs, I see Infragistics, NetAdvantage for .Net 2009.1, Windows Forms, Documentation, Documentation (OnLine). Is there any thing else I should see? Thanks!

In addition to the (Online) help link in your start menu, you should also have a (Local) link. If you do not, then you must download the help installer and run it. You should be able to access this download through our site's main menu: My IG >> Keys and Downloads.
Hi, I was just checking up to see if you ever downloaded and installed the help. Did that work out for you?
I went to the My IG but I don't see anything pertaining to a Help Installer. On the NetAdvantage tab I see 2009.1 and 2009.2, but nothing else for those versions.
