Hide tooltip for a cell

 How do I hide tooltips for a cell in a grid only?

    What i see are tooltips that appear when the cell has more data than its current width and the tooltip tries to show the entire data string.

    Can i turn off this feature as I am trying to hide the rest of the data in the cell?
