Hello all,
It has been a while since we last upgrade our NetAdvantage Infragistics WindowsForms Volume License. Does anyone even remember working with Infragistics NetAdvantage Vol 5.2? :)
We've finally decided to go trough with Vol10.3 first, in order to give a new "look and feel" to our erp, improve infragistics components and routines and mostly because we're convinced that this Vol. meets some of the requirements we need to accomplish in short term.
We've tried to upgrade our projects by using the Upgrade Utility that ships with Vol 10.3 without success...
"No matching assembly located in available assemblies Infragistics2.Win.v10.303:20:11: at Infragistics.VersionUtilitySupport.Core.ProductAssemblies.AssemblyList.FindNewAssemblyNode(String assemblyName) at Infragistics.VersionUtilitySupport.Core.File.Types.ProjectFile.Upgrade(String rootDirectory)"
Our project files don't have readonly attribute active. We're using VS2008 in x64 environment.
We've read something about this issue submitted by others in your forums and they didn't get much of assistance. We don't find reasonable and logic upgrading more than 30 projects (in one solution only) by hand.
Can you please assist?
Thanks in advance,
PM
Hi,
Can you please give me more information on the following questions:
1. What are your regional settings(language)? – if it is not English , please try to change it and run the version utility again.
2. Have you checked if all assemblies are in the GAC?
3. What approaches have you tried with the version utility?
I am looking forward to your response.
Regards,
Stefaniya
Hello,
in answer to your questions:
1 - It is English.
2 - We are compiling and upgrading our app on Windows Server 2008 R2. All assemblies are on Windows/Assembly. Is there any limitation regarding Windows Server?
3 - All aproaches actually. First we tried to upgrade with all the default settings. As it was producing an error we tried a custom upgrade selecting CLR20 and Windows Forms 2010.3. Unfortunately the result was the same: unable to upgrade.
Look forward to your thoughts on this.
Best Regards.
