Recently one of the developers had some issues with the infragistics controls in his Visual Studio so he ran some upgrades (or something) he's not quite sure what he did. But ever since we've been getting these strange errors and warnings in the compiler and on the designers:
Warning 1 Could not load file or assembly 'Infragistics2.Win.Misc.v8.3, Version=8.3.20083.1009, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7dd5c3163f2cd0cb' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. 0 0
Does bumping work on these forums?
Yes this worked. Furthermore I used the Infragistics upgrade utility to upgrade the project that was throwing the errors and this got rid of it thank you.
Hello,
It seems to me that after the upgrade there is some incorrect information left in the License.licx file in the mentioned application. You could open the mentioned .licx file and remove the content from it. The mentioned warning might occur when you update your current product with a service release, and there is old information left in this file. One other thing that you could check is how the "Specific Version" of our assemblies in your application are set.
If it is possible for your please verify the above suggestion and let me know if you need further assistance.
