Hi,
I would like to be able to change the Grid's height when I change the height of the form. I would also like to see more rows in the grid when I do that. Is there a built in functionality for that?
Please note that I am ready to use an ultrapanel or any other control in the background to achieve this functionality.
Thanks, Jayson
Hello Jayson,
You could add to the Anchor of the UltraGrid "Bottom" state. Click on the UltraGrid in design time, open the properties window find Anchor, and add "Bottom".
If that not suits your scenario you could "Dock" the ultraGrid to the desired side of the UltraForm.
Please let me know if you have any other questions with this matter.
Thanks,
Both Anchor and Dock resizes the width of the grid, what I want is to increase the number of rows displayed in the grid when I drag the bottom of the form.
Let say i would like to change the height of the grid as I drag the bottom of the form how can I do that?
Yes this is possible.
By default the UltraGrid is Anchor "Right and Top". As I stated in my previous reply adding the "Bottom" anchoring will do what you are looking for. Once you add the "Bottom" Anchoring to the already existing, changing the Height of the Form will be changing the height of the UltraGrid as well.
If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
