Hi,
my Problem ist that I have 2 branches of my software. Branch 1 ist the main whitch is on Version 20112.2019.
The other brunch (B) is on version 20112.2004.
Now I must fix a problem in brunch (B) but I cant't bring the brunch to Version 20112.2019 cause a full Release is not posible.
Is there anny way to have both version on computer an compile main brunch on 2019 and brunch (B) on 2004?
Best regards
Wolfgang

Hello,
I don't want have different versions in a project but in different Projects on the same developer maschine.
The Problem is, that if I Patch IG to new service release I cant work in the old project whith the unpatcht version.
So I go to the Servicerelease that of my old project.

It should be possible to retain the pre-service release version of NetAdvantage while having a newer version installed on the sample machine. For this particular scenario, I would recommend backing up the older assemblies that you intend to retain and place them into a folder which deviates from the install path for NetAdvantage on your machine and the default location within the Windows Forms/Bin folder; as this folder will be over-written with the service release install.
Next, I would install the service release for NetAdvantage that you are interested in and possibly maintain the same folder convention used with the older assemblies if you intend to repeat this practice with future builds.
Using this approach, you will be able to adjust the reference path for your projects that you intend to use with the older assemblies, while having those associated with current builds available for development.
