Can Spellchecker control use MS Word dictionary for Spelling checks?
Hello ,
UltraSpellChecker can uses a different dictionaries in dict format or in text file where each word is on new line. For more information please look at the following link:
http://help.infragistics.com/Help/NetAdvantage/WinForms/2011.2/CLR2.0/html/WinSpellChecker_Dictionaries.html
So if you have a dict or a text file in the mentioned format you could use it as dictionary for UltraSpellChecher, by default UltraSpellCheher doesn’t detect any Microsoft Word dictionaries, but if they are in appropriate format you could use them with UltraSpellChecker .
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
By any chance could you expand on what "dict" format you are referring to? There appears to be many dictionary formats floating around on the web.
I'm also interessted in this.
Any news?
Many thanks in advance.
Our dictionaries are based on Keyoti RapidSpell v1.2 Keyoti RapidSpell v2.0-norev dict format. Also our SpellChecker supports text file as dictionary, where each word must be on new line.
I hope that this will helps you.
