I am trying to use the UltraStatusBar with several panels with different border styles. Everything I have tried, all the panels have the same border as panel with index=0. I am trying to set three panels, two with borderstyle=none and one with borderstyle=insetsoft. All panels will always have the same borderstyle set on panel index 0 regardless of what I set the borderstyle to for the other panels. Is there a way to get different panels to have different border styles?

I just tried this out and got the same results. Looks like a bug to me.
You should Submit an incident to Infragistics Developer Support.
Has this been fixed with a hot fix?
I also have a panel which its stype is Button and I cannot set a border.
This was fixed, but I can't remember when. You could download the latest hotfix and try it out, or contact Developer Support to see if the issue has been addressed.

I was notified it was fixed ~1 month ago. I have not tried it, by the time it was fixed and released I had used a different control and moved on.
