Hello,
does anybody know how the text of a ‘StateButton’ and of a ‘MaskedEditTool’ can be left aligned in a ribbon?
The sample project is attached.
Thank you very much for any suggestions!
Frank
This is the image.
Hello ,
The easiest way to achieve your goal is to add white space in front of the caption of your MaskEditorTool. The other option is to use creation filter inorder to move image and text UI element 2 pixel right. Please see attached sample .
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
The example:
Dear Mr. Hristo,
today I checked again the example ‘RibbonWithMaskedEditToolMod1.zip’, but this approach seems not lead the golden shore. The basic problem is that the ‘Statebutton‘ and the ‘MaskedEditTool‘ do have different x-coordinate offsets (from the left) for their text elements.
It seems, that the images do have the same x-offsets. It would be nice, if this could be fixed in a future release, because normally everyone likes to have correct aligned controls in the ribbon.
Thank you very much for the help so far.Frank
Could you please list several specific environments (operation system, windows themes, fonts and etc. ) on which you are able to reproduce this, in order to be able to verify this on my side and to research for a possible solutions.
I am waiting for your feedback.
Both machines run under Windows 7 64 Bit SP1 and both with the Windows 7 basic theme. Machine 1:Screen resolution 2560x1440Text: Size medium 125% Machine 2:Screen resolution 1400x1050Text: Size standard 100% What I have observed with completely different application software is that the setting of text size to medium 125% is the most critical thing.
Thank you very much for your investigation.
regardsFrank
