I have a WinTabbedMDI with the TabGroupSettings.ShowTabListButton set to True.
When the button is clicked I get a menu drop down with default formatting. Does anyone know how I can modify the appearance of this menu drop down? (Image attached)

After investigating your request, I discovered that modifying the items listed by clicking the TabListButton is a new feature. You can suggest new product ideas for future versions (or vote for existing ones) at <http://ideas.infragistics.com>.
Is there no underlying menu that we can use to set the appearance?
It must be a menu within your control I would have thought...

During my investigation I had checked for UIElements to modify for these particular drop down items, but found none. And by not having any properties to adjust, changing the appearance is not optional.
