After the TabItem area has been minimized and is then extended again the RibbonGroups contained are no longer displayed.
The behavior shows up only if the Theme "Office2013" has been set.
Picture shows the difference after collapse and expand.

Do you have a sample you can send me that reproduces this issue? I put together my own sample but so far I haven't reproduced the issue where the RibbonGroup is disappearing.
Do you have an exact set of steps I can follow that should reproduce this? Maybe I'm just not performing the proper set of actions to trigger this behavior.

If I switch to the second RibbonTabItem and then back to the first is the RibbonGroup reappear
In another test, I have found that even with other Themes Office2010Blue only without a Theme or Aero is OK.
I looked at what happens to the Ribbon Group IsVisible Property. The property value is False after DoubleClick.

I was testing an older version of 16.1 which did not contain this issue. I switched to the released version and now I can reproduce it. Fortunately this issue was already reported to us previously and has since been resolved in our internal builds. So you will see this issue fixed in the next service release.
