Hi,
We have recently upgraded from Infragistics 14.1 to 16.1. We have noticed that When we create the setup of our application and install. By Default all Infragistics Dll will be add in C:\Program Files (x86) either we provide this path or not for installing this setup.
We have tried to Install the Setup in other Path Like In D:\DemoSetup. In this case all Infragistics Dll will be add in C:\Program Files (x86) and the application Dll will be added in the assigned path(D:\DemoSetup).
Same thing not occurring while using 14.1 Dll. Setup having 14.1 Infragistics Dll. In this case all Infragistics dll will be added as per provide path.
Please let us aware about this.
Thanks

Are you installing Infragistics Ultimate 2016 Vol 1?

Yes. we have installed Infragistics 16.1
I just tested installing the WPF Setup through Infragistics_WPF_20161.msi and everything got copied into the location I had provided (C:\16.1 in my case).
Let me know if you are using some other installer, please. Thank you!

Thanks for Your reply. But I think Its my mistake that I have posted this issue in WPF Setup section that's why you are not getting my point. I have created small application using Infragistics 16.1 dll.
Suppose I have created one View and added comobBox, TextBox etc. After that I have build the solution and added setup in Visual studio and created setup for this small application after creating the setup, installed this setup in our system. while installing the setup by default infragistic dll are going to add in (C:\x86).
That's the thing I am going to point. I am not going to point Infragistics_WPF_20161.msi. Manually we have created the setup for our application which contain infragistics 16.1 dll.
Please let me know If you have any doubt.
It looks like you have created an installer for your application. If that is the case, I believe your installer dictates the location your dlls would be deployed into. Our product's installation does not interfere with a subsequent custom installation.
Hope that helps!
Thanks for your reply. But I believe that In application Installer containing Infragistics 16.1 dll have such kind things. I will post this scenario in Developer section. I believe they will consult this things. We are not pointing out product installer. We are pointing Infragistics 16.1 libraries in our application Installer.
Kanwar,
Please provide the following as this will help us understand what is happening:
Let me know if you have any questions with this matter.
I need to know how the installer was generated to assist you. Please provide that information. The end result only shows me what you have already described before.
Please Install this DemoSetup containing Infragistics 16.1 libraries and analyze C:\Program Files (x86) path. Please let me know..
