Hi guys,
I am looking at implementing my application using the Composite Application Block for WPF and you controls. Do you have any advice on how this may be achieved? I have just started working on it so I may be a while :)
Hello,
The product manager for NetAdvantage for WPF has been working intimately with Microsoft to ensure our controls are compatible with the new composite application library. Simply use the controls as you would any other WPF control with component WPF and there should be no problem. If you get deep into component WPF and need adaptors, please contact product management or developer support and we should be able to help you. Also, if you find any kind of conflict, please contact our developer support team as we should be able to help you through any type of problem.
Thank you!
I am already at the stage of looking for adapters! the Idea is to have the Ribbon built dynamicaly from the modules! I have had some ideas around this but if your teams have already compleated an amount of work on this it would be very helpfull.
Could you direct me to someone who can assist?
I currently need documentation and RegionAdapters to allow me to interact with the Ribbon.
I want to be able to add ApplicationMenu items, tabs, Contextual Tabs and ButtonGroups in a dynamic manor....
You can send an email to product management, Mention that you need RegioAdapters for the NetAdvantage for WPF Ribbon. If we have them already completed, someone will get back to you.

Hi Curtis
Would this not form part of the NCAL project on CodePlex?

I think the last changes on NCAL are made at Jan 9 2009. Are there any news about a adapter for the Ribbon-Control ?

H. Henn
There has been no response to my email but I did read that Josh was on holiday in Hawaii. Maybe related?

The product manager for NetAdvantage has been working on region adapters for CAL. Please contact product management and request adapters for the ribbon. If he has any in the workings, he should be able to provide them to you. If you do not hear from product management in a reasonable amount of time, post here again and I will follow through.
If you need a more immediate solution, please contact our developer support and ask for a region adapter or equivalent for the XamRibbon.

Thanks!
Currently NCAL only has support for the xamDockManager. Will we see anything for xamRibbon?
Hi Rob,
Thanks for mentioning NCAL. This is a fairly new development. In response to users wishing to work with the Composite Application Library, we have released region adapters for NetAdvantage for WPF.
