We are interested in restyling the non-client area for branding purposes. In particular, we would like to be able to alter the font-size, font-family and height of the title bar area (caption). Ideally, we would like it if the xamRibbonWindow exposed a Template that we can simply replace with one we have customized.
Hello Joe,
It would seem that, in this case, the XamRibbon and the Ribbon in general isn't the right tool to address our needs.
Thank you for your reply.

When in Vista and glass is enabled (i.e. running under the Aero theme) then the XamRibbonWindow will always try to use the glass and Vista caption buttons. You may want to submit a suggestion for adding a property to disable this.
hi,
but if I want change the look of the caption? is possible?I see that in Windows XP the XamRibbonWindow is completely changed but in Windows Vista change only the Background and the caption is the same of the classic window of Vista. Is possible to change the style of the caption also in Windows Vista?
Hey Joe,
Perhaps I could have been more clear. The application itself doesn't lend itself to using a ribbon. If it did, we'd likely be using your XamRibbon since we're already using some of your other controls and are eagerly looking forward to your WPF version of the "WinDockManager".
