Hello, In my application I display a file name in the XamRibbon title area. When that title changes: exmaple the start a new file or rename it etc... The title changes but the graphic or area in the title portion changes and shows the classic windows title theme through the xamribbon title. So it looks like a mesh between the xamribbon and classix windows with the title showing up in the middle of the ribbon portion but also showing up on the left where it is traditionally in classic windows. If i minimize then maximize, call InvalidateVisual or do anything that cuase a gui refresh it is fine again till that title area changes.
If anyone can point my in some direction to remedy this problem I would greatly appreciate.
I'd like to try to help you with this. I'm not sure I follow what you're doing and seeing. Could you attach your xaml and xaml.cs file? A screenshot showing the incorrect behavior would be helpful too...thanks...
Here are two Screenshots to help give you an idea of what is happening. My desktop is set to Windows Classic theme and I am running XP as my OS. The first screen shot shows the title in the correct location in the iddle top "New...rcp - Radar Cov.erage...". The next screenshot shows what happens when that title changes wether it be creating a new file or what not anytime that title is changed it leaves remnants of what looks to be the classic style window in the ribbon area. Sometimes its the window controls on right side sometimes the Title, and soemtimes it just leave the border of the window in the ribbon area it differs. In my xaml.cs code I am setting the xamribbonwindow.Title based off actions such as making a new file or saving. Attached are the Screenshots hopefully they help if you still end up needing the actual files I will see what I can do. I most likely will have to take some time to strip some stuff out.
Thanks for the reply and any help you can give me.
Here is the correct behavior the next post will show the incorrect behavior.
